After the installation of the rings, we could see certain changes in our boiler operation monitoring parameters. Initially, as predicted, the TDS parameters rose above 3,000 ppm due to the detachment of the sediment / scale that laid within the pipe where the rings were installed (which had never been treated). For this, it was necessary to increase the purges to maintain TDS parameters within our standard.
After 45 days, there was a cleaning in the supply tanks where we could appreciate much of the sediment that had been detached from the old scales of the pipe where the rings were installed. Once the cleaning was completed, the TDS parameters decreased considerably and levels above 3000 ppm have not been appreciated again, so the purges have decreased to 5-6 times per day.
Another aspect to note is that by not using chemical products, the levels of sulfites and phosphates are very low, which benefits the “health condition” of the boiler.

The heat exchangers at our customer Tipperary Co-Operative (dairy in Ireland) were installed by us years ago. Over the years, the systems have always been maintained by us and we have carried out the corresponding services. We therefore have a good overview of the degree of scaling caused by hard water on these systems during operation.
We installed the Sialex^®Rings four (4) weeks before the start of the annual maintenance of the system. As a rule, the corresponding heat exchanger is completely dismantled at this time and then cleaned with appropriate “acidic agents”. Experience has shown that the calcification is so considerable that a considerable amount of labour is required for cleaning.
The annual service interval was then carried out as a matter of routine and we can summarise at this point that both the customer and we are very satisfied with the effect of the Sialex^® rings.

The hardness of the water supplying the company was normally between 250 and 260 mg/litre. After the rings were installed, the hardness began to increase, indicating that they were functioning properly, i.e. that the existing deposits in the pipes were being broken down. Over time, the hardness began to decrease again. In our case, it fell to values below the historical average, demonstrating the effectiveness of these rings. In addition, small flakes of detached deposits were found in the pipes.
In the reverse osmosis unit, the deposits in the tank of the filtered drinking water were reduced.

Five (5) years ago a 2” Sialex^®Ring “Industrial” was installed at our “Aqua-Tube Boiler” with a capacity of 2,700 kg/h in its water inlet line. During all this time it was never necessary to clean the boiler or change the coil!
Pictures were taken and a total absence of scaling can be observed in all cases.

In 2022, in several newly built multi-storey residential buildings, we installed a ring for protection against scale type SIALEX, for each apartment specifically SIALEX Classic DN32, and in some buildings SIALEX Industrial DN65, on the cold water inlet to the building.
The goal of installation is to provide to residents added value of the apartment — protection against limescale, which realizes lower costs for energy for heating and maintenance of sanitary equipment and provides greater comfort of use without visible limescale deposits.
The SIALEX Ring achieved all these goals and the users are satisfied. We also recommend it for further residential buildings that we will build.

The rings for protection against limescale and corrosion have been installed by the Student Center in Zagreb, Savska 25, OIB 22597784145 twice (2023 and 2024) in all student dormitories of the Student Center in Zagreb. The results of the installation of the limescale treaters are visible after just a few months on the buildings in the form of a reduction in the number of defective limescale aerators and a reduction in breakdowns caused by limescale deposits.
Although we have not seen any savings in the consumption of water and other energy sources, this is impossible anyway due to the size, purpose and complexity of the buildings themselves.
Most importantly for us, we’ve seen a noticeable reduction in pipe bursts and plumbing failures, which is why the rings were installed in the first place.

The dismantling and opening of the heat exchanger at our customer Slaney Foods (specialising in beef and lamb production in Ireland) took place exactly two months after the installation of the Sialex^® rings. No CIP cleaning was carried out during this 60-day test period and there was no indication of the need for such cleaning. Contrary to previous experience, the pumps continued to run without “seizing up” and all other indicators pointed to a heat exchanger that was actually freshly cleaned or not calcified.
The Sialex^® rings proved to be extremely effective in preventing new limescale deposits within the heat exchanger, as well as within the corresponding hot water circuit.
For our customer Slaney Foods, this also means longer pump and heat exchanger service life as well as reduced energy consumption.

We have been using the Sialex^®Rings for many years, both in our production and also privately in our own house. Although we are located here in Ober-Ramstadt in a rather hard water region, we have had no more problems with scale in the cooling circuit or in our machines since then. In the past, we have often recommended the systems from Phoenix Ring Manufaktur to others, and many of my employees now also have such a system.
As far as I know, they are all satisfied.

I am responsible for a large number of existing buildings here in Havana and I know the problems with scale incrustations very well. Many of our buildings, some of which are very old, have very significant problems with blocked pipes. Through the representative of the German company for Cuba, we became aware of Sialex. As a first step, we bought some first rings in 2017 and had them installed in our building. The results were not long in coming. After only one month, we noticed considerable amounts of deposits in the filters, which required periodic cleaning of the filters from then on. Eight months after the installation we can assure that no filters need to be cleaned anymore and also the pipes are free of any deposits. We at PALCO IMMOBILIARIA are very satisfied with the result and will successively equip other existing buildings with Sialex.

We produce ophthalmic lenses for the whole world here in Thailand. Through the exclusive distributor of Sialex here in Thailand, we got a Sialex ring installed directly in the access of a Daikin Chiller 350 RT. The goal was to get the scale problems in the Condenser unit under control but also to level the so called “approach temperature” at maixmal of 5° F. The installation was performed in Nov. 27, 2017. After one year, we opened the condenser for inspection and found no scale residue. Since then, the condenser has been working absolutely trouble-free at a very high level without adding any other chemical additives.
We will use further systems from Sialex.

The German Sialex^®Rings for our hotel “Rio Lagartos” here in Yucatan, Mexico were introduced to us by Mr. Eberhard Wolff. As a follow-up, some of these rings were then installed here at our hotel in October 2018. Since then, we have been able to notice many changes. Among other things, we were able to notice a significant difference in the bathrooms of our rooms. Previously, our guests sometimes had to wait up to 90 seconds for hot water. Today, we can reduce this to an absolute minimum of a few seconds. We can also see a significant increase in the pressure of the water on all floors and in all rooms. Hot water boilers have not needed to be opened for cleaning since that time. For these reasons listed here, we can recommend the use of the German Sialex^®Ring without exception and send our greetings from the hot Mexico.
